Privacy Policy

Like nearly every website, this site runs on hosting and content-delivery infrastructure that keeps technical records. Those records can include your IP address, the page you requested, the date and time, your browser and device type, general location inferred from the network request, and the address of a referring page.

These records exist to deliver pages, keep the site secure, block abuse, and diagnose problems.

The contact form asks for:

• An adult name
• An email address
• An inquiry type
• An optional organization
• An optional subject
• A message
• Your confirmation that you are an adult and accept the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy

Submissions are stored in our managed database so we can read and answer them. We also record the date and time of your consent and the version of the legal pages in effect when you submitted the form.

We use these details to reply to you, to keep a reasonable business record of the conversation, and to protect the form from abuse. There is no file-upload field anywhere on this site.

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, does not use behavioral or personalized advertising, does not use remarketing, and does not record your screen or keystrokes.

Our bot-protection provider may set a limited cookie or local value needed to complete a security check on the contact form.

No third-party analytics product is installed at launch. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first.

We rely on a small number of providers to run the site:

• Cloudflare, for hosting, content delivery, and network security, which keeps request and security logs
• Cloudflare Turnstile, for bot protection on the contact form
• Lovable Cloud, which provides the managed database that stores contact-form submissions
• An email service used to reach you when we reply

Fonts are served from this website itself, so loading a page does not send a request to an outside font provider. The theme song is hosted on our own site and is not streamed through a third-party media platform.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

We keep contact-form submissions as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a reasonable business record, then delete them. Hosting and security logs are kept for shorter periods set by our providers.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers described above, or where the law requires it or to protect legal rights and safety.

This website is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

There are no child accounts, profiles, comments, chat, messaging, uploads, or contests on this site, and we do not ask for a child's name, email, age, birth date, school, address, photograph, location, medical information, or educational records.

Every form on this site is intended for adults. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to privacy@thesquirrelbus.com and we will delete it.

An adult may ask us for a copy of the information they sent us, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@thesquirrelbus.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the person who sent the message.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including transport encryption, access controls, rate limiting, and bot protection. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive information through the form.

If the way this site works changes, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
