Accessibility

Everyone belongs on this bus, including on the website. If something here gets in your way, we want to hear about it.

Effective date: August 6, 2026

This website is operated by SAMG Inc., an Illinois corporation, which is committed to making it usable for as many people as possible.

1. What We Work Toward

We build and test this site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That work includes:

  • Keyboard navigation and visible focus
  • A clear heading structure with one main heading per page
  • Semantic page landmarks and descriptive links
  • Labeled form fields with accessible error and confirmation messages
  • Readable color contrast and text that can be resized
  • Support for reduced-motion settings and no flashing effects
  • Accessible audio controls
  • Accurate descriptions for meaningful images and empty descriptions for decorative ones
  • Touch targets large enough for a thumb

We do not claim perfect compliance. Accessibility is ongoing work, and some issues are only found when a real person runs into them.

2. The Theme Song

Audio never starts on its own. The theme song plays only when you choose to press play, and the player can be operated with a keyboard, a screen reader, or a touch screen.

3. Third-Party Content

Some parts of the experience rely on outside services, such as the security check on the contact form. We do not control the accessibility of those services, and we will help you another way if one of them blocks you.

4. Tell Us What to Fix

Write to accessibility@thesquirrelbus.com and, if you can, include:

  • The page you were on
  • What happened, or what you could not do
  • The device and browser you were using, if that is easy to share

We read every message and will work with you to find another way to get you what you need.
