Things to Make and Do

Pull up a chair and spend a little more time with the Squirrel Bus crew. These simple activities invite children to draw, imagine, sing, laugh, and create their own Acorn Grove adventures.

  • Draw Your Own Seat

Where would you sit on the Squirrel Bus? Draw your seat, the friend sitting beside you, and something wonderful you might see outside the window.

  • Sing and Move Along

Play “All Aboard the Squirrel Bus” and create a simple motion for the chorus. Clap, wave, march, or invent your own Squirrel Bus dance.

  • Pack for the Ride

Imagine you are climbing aboard for a brand-new adventure. Draw three things you would bring in your backpack and tell why each one might be useful.

Who Would You Sit Beside?

Every friend brings something different to the ride. Choose a riding buddy and try the activity inspired by them.
